Advice to go shopping

- Make a list with the products that you will buy.
- Keep in mind the money you can spend.
- Compare prices and products in different shops and even in the same shop.
- Compare prices online.
- Check if the products are on sale. Go shopping at the sales.
- Always try the clothes on.
- Never go to the supermarket if you are hungry.
- Check that you really need the product.
- Don't buy something just for its make. Buy things that are good quality and that you like,
- Don't cut the labels before you try the clothes on at home. And don't throw the receipt away for some days.
- Don't rely on the lights and mirrors in the fitting rooms.
- Ask the shop-assistant about other sections.

PRESENT SIMPLE
form
- affirmative: subject + infinitive (+3rd p –(e)s)
- negative: subject + don’t/doesn’t + infinitive
- question: do/does + subject + infinitive
Remember that we only add the –(e)s in the 3rd person affirmative form and that be is an exception: am / is / are

- stative verbs that are not used in the pres. cont. (see, hear, believe, want, know, understand, think, like, love...)
Key words: how often / always / sometimes / often / never / usually / every day / once a week / twice a month... / if (in conditional sentences)
